Terms of Service

These Terms are between you and Route Fuse Systems Inc. ("Route Fuse"), an Alberta corporation with a mailing address at 12236 104 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta T5G 2L6, Canada. By submitting a request, applying as a contractor, or using this site, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

Route Fuse is an introduction service. We take a homeowner's request and route it to one contractor in that area who has said they serve that service and city. That is the whole of what we do.

We are not a contractor, a general contractor, a broker, an insurer, or an agent of either party. We do not perform work, supervise work, price work, hold funds, or guarantee work. Any contract for the actual job is strictly between the homeowner and the contractor, and we are not a party to it.

Requesting quotes through Route Fuse is free. You agree the information you submit is accurate and that you have the authority to request work at the address concerned.

We screen contractors on the information they give us, but you remain responsible for your own due diligence before hiring: confirm licensing, insurance, WCB coverage, references and written quotes directly with the contractor. Never treat an introduction from us as a substitute for that.

You are under no obligation to hire anyone we introduce. If a contractor does not contact you or is not a good fit, tell us and we will requeue the request where we can.

You must hold the licences, permits, certifications and insurance required for the work you accept in the jurisdictions you serve, and you must keep them current for as long as you take leads from us. You are an independent business, not an employee, partner or agent of Route Fuse.

Lead information is provided for the purpose of quoting that specific job. You agree not to resell, re-broker or redistribute it, not to add homeowners to your own marketing lists without their consent, and to comply with CASL and applicable privacy law in your own dealings with them.

Accepting a lead means committing to contact the homeowner promptly. Repeatedly accepting and then failing to respond, or a pattern of complaints, may result in reduced routing priority or removal from the platform.

Contractor subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor on the interval shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal.

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law or where we have clearly failed to deliver the service. Prices may change, and we will give notice before a change takes effect on your renewal.

A subscription buys access to lead routing in your service area. It does not buy a guaranteed number of leads, a guaranteed number of accepted jobs, exclusivity, or any particular revenue outcome. Route Fuse provides opportunities; contractor results depend on availability, responsiveness, customer contact, pricing, closing ability and service quality. Subscription fees do not guarantee a specific number of completed jobs. Existing accepted jobs remain active when leads are paused.

Do not submit false, spam or automated requests; do not impersonate anyone; do not scrape, probe or interfere with the platform; do not attempt to access records that are not yours; and do not use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

Reviews and other content you submit must be truthful and based on genuine, first-hand experience of a real job. We do not write, buy, incentivize or fabricate reviews, and we do not permit anyone else to. You keep ownership of what you submit and grant us a licence to display it on the platform. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, or not based on a real transaction.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that routing will be uninterrupted, that a request will be accepted, or that any contractor's work will meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Route Fuse is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or property damage arising from work performed or not performed by a contractor introduced through the platform.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or CAD $100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, and consumer-protection rights that apply to you are unaffected.

If you are a contractor, you agree to indemnify Route Fuse against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from work you perform, from your breach of these Terms, or from your misuse of homeowner information.

Disputes about workmanship, scope, timing, damage or payment are between the homeowner and the contractor. We are not an arbitrator and have no authority to compel either side. We will, on request, provide the routing and communication records we hold about the introduction so both parties have the same facts, and we take complaint patterns seriously when deciding who stays on the platform.

You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if your payment fails, or if continuing would expose us or other users to legal or safety risk. Sections that logically survive termination — fees owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity — continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction, without limiting any right you have to bring a claim in your own province of residence where consumer-protection law permits it.

We may update these Terms. The version stamp at the top of this page changes when we do, and we record which version a contractor accepted at application time. Material changes affecting paid subscriptions take effect at your next renewal, with notice beforehand.
